Welcome to the Rosemary!
Some places are simply loved into existence. Our grandma Rosemary brought our whole family to French Lake every summer, and the lake got into everyone, today three generations of us live here. In 2025 we found a little chalet tucked into the woods across the water, and in 2026 we flipped it from the studs out. Warm wood walls, a beautiful bathroom, curated furnishings. Modern and luxurious inside; deep woods and total seclusion outside.
THE CABIN
A luxury tiny cabin built for two: king bed against the original log walls, layered linens, a full bathroom, and windows that look at nothing but trees. Front is a stunning lake view.
THE BUNKHOUSE
A few steps away, its own little retreat, queen bed, TV, and a tiny fridge, plus a snug loft nook where two little kids love to sleep up top. Perfect for a second couple on a double-date weekend, or kids who want a cabin of their own.
THE GROUNDS
All-new landscaping threads through the woods, and a private walkway winds down to our beautiful dock on French Lake. Morning coffee on the water, the kind of quiet you can hear at night.
THE LOCATION
Extremely secluded, and still only 45 minutes from Minneapolis and St. Paul. Leave after work, be on the dock by sunset. Faribault and Northfield's restaurants, breweries, and river trails are minutes away.
Come stay at Rosemary's lake. We think you'll understand why nobody in our family ever left.
